Hello Jan, Peter and Mac,
Would it help as a temporary solution to copy and paste our poetry (see attached) onto this little used forum page for display, until such time the situation is resolved?
You shouldn't have to 'stress' yourselves on our account.
I know we would have to double check the wording etc. each of us acting as a self moderator of sorts. If anything untoward is posted, I am sure it would be easier for you to deal with. "What say you?"

At least it gives us an opportunity to read and comment on each others work.
I am sure you are all doing everything you can on our behalf and I thank you for your efforts.
God Bless Richard

"La Bella Luna"

When once thou held the gaze of Bards gone by

Such influence encouraged thoughtful prose

Sweet words poured forth (twud light up evening sky)

In overtures to love they did compose

Whilst imperfections showed on cratered face

Twas lyrical they waxed about such scars

Both dark side and known shadows would embrace

Invoking pull of planets and near stars

Now here I stand in awe of said ‘Blue Moon’

Upon the Earth, once seen from yon aspect

A sight so fair could make a clear head swoon

Across the world we long for reconnect

For time once was, when we didst cleave from each

Tho cast aside; still form'd within our reach

Richard Gildea

Well done my friends!

Head scratching and action taken has resulted in seeing fresh and new poems on site and given a buzz to the Forum!

Peter I agree - poem and comments together works for me to - when commenting it is easier to refer to poem by just scrolling down - saves having two windows open.

Maybe in the upgrade this can incoporated?

Richard thanks for taking the tme to individully comment on poems - I have just spent an happy hour going through them myself.

I will start the 'new' trend of posting poems in the Forum on Monday. Should be able to clear the backlog very quickly this way.
Onwards and upwards

Couldn't resist it had to try it out today, all backlog now on the forum
Less than 15 mins work.

Hello Peter,
Thanks again for indulging my "temporary" solution.
I know it's not perfect, but it may help to ease the burden on you and dear Jan whilst also keeping things ticking over.
God Bless,

Hello Mac, thank you for the positive response; I can only imagine the problems you are faced with in gaining recognition for the site.
What a difference it could make to many lives.
I do hope all is well my friend.
God Bless,

Yes would be great change.
Start a new topic with your new poem the paste it on, you will then be able to see the comments to that poem.
Start a new topic for each poem so poems and comments stay together.
We can just add the poems from you emailed ones straight into the database for use when needed.
Jan and I can still moderate the forum if needed.
Jan and I can copy the poem from the email box and post it into the forum, for those that are busy or not confident enough to be able to do it.
Works for me. I really like to see the poem and the comments/feedback on the same page.

Hi Richard, I think that may well be a good temp solution, so thank you for the idea.
Peter/Jan, what if we also ask anyone who takes up Richard's suggestion, to still send their poem in by email also? That way at least we thing get sorted by Rui we will still have all the poems to place on the site.
Richard you thanks to Peter and Jan is spot on! Their efforts to help FLOW function and to assist all those who wish to see their poetry up in the world are hugely appreciated. I do hope to get FLOW recognised but boy it's an uphill struggle. I am confident that we will get there, especially with such a committed team helping out at the front line. All the best to you all, Mac.

Hello Peter,
Thank you for your response, I do understand your point about the data base and as you have said it would be possible to transfer the poems at a later date.
Far better to be up and running as normal, yet your efforts and that of dear Jan on our behalf are much appreciated by all.

In regards to my health, all will be well my friend.
May the Good Lord watch over you and yours.

Hi Richard, Good idea for a temp solution, I am trying to get a poem on a day if I can, we only have a small backlog at the moment. Once we are up and running we could copy the poems across to the database leaving the comments on the forum. We do need the poems on the database to enable us to select /search/ and print off selected poems/categories if necessary.
Hope you are feeling better
