T O P I C R E V I E W
Posted - 12/07/2019 : 10:32:10 I sat down and wrote this today because I wanted to put something on the Flow site. Contributions of any sort seem to have dried up and that is very sad. I look most days to see if there is anything new to read and feel very low when I see that the last person to post did it a month ago.
The frantic tap began again Upon the cottage window pane His gaze was steady His eyes were dull Just waiting for A final lull
Just two more taps And then she left His pain grew worse He felt bereft He felt she was tied to his heart And slowly pulling him apart
The rope would stretch And finally break And then his heart Could stop its ache His mind might stop its yearning strain To hear her tip tap on the pane
