Hi Andrew, Grew up with the 'fire service' - my late dear Aunt served in the war - deployed to Portsmouth. This was followed by continued loyal service in the building surveyors office till she retired at 60.
Things wasn't so restricted by security then, and we had many happy times at Central Fire station, visiting her! Respect and admiration for all firefighters!

Hi,
Wally here. I was never in the services. My father was in the RAF in WWII. I've been a BL associate-member for a long time; can't remember how long. I'm a Scot from Ayrshire. I'm a retired logistics manager, was mostly in electronics / computer companies. Live in Holland; married a Dutch girl. Got two sons and five grand-daughters. Hobbies are writing and golf. Hope to submit some work in the not too distant future.

Cheers, Wally.
