"We've had carp for months..."

They have been living in the local fish farm, which is next to the nuclear powerstation.

The diet is a little monotonous, but it does come in interesting colours and shapes, though they do draw the line at fluorescent green.

"It is all very well being able to see one's prey at night but why does it have to be that ghastly colour - vomit green?"

"Three?

We have to eat three of these things a day?

My last one was delivered on a low loader last month... I'm still eating it."

Hello, Could this be the missing link we in Wales have been searching for? the one with the hole in his head to emit all his excess fluid. Very strange indeed. Taffy

It walks on water similar to the Jesus Lizard.

I gether it has to do with surface tension and speed.

Anyway a hydrophobic fish would need a few uppers to it dry.

I see my spelling and typistry was not up to standard on that previous message, my apologies.

Have written another poem, which I shall upload later; it has a war theme though I expect people to think about it, as usual.

I am on a 'very low fat diet' and, hopefully, I shall be able to get down to 15 stone and maintain that weight; the target is 13 stone but I want to hold on 15 for a couple of months before continuing to diet, so as to give the body a rest.

The pain levels are a bit lower in my back and these should continue to be lower as I lose weight, though the pain will stabilise and I should be left with a more workable level.

Certainly feel more physically energetic, which is good because I have a lot of work to do in the garden and the allotment.

Following on from the Social Services Assessment I have been passed for Direct Payments in order to employ a personal assistant and I am now receiving frozen meals once a week for 7 days, invoice at end of month - so I shall be able to have a balanced but reduced diet.

Everyone is agreed that my bathroom and kitchen are no good and that I need a wheelchair-accessible bungalow. However, there is still some idea that an old age persons bungalow would be suitable - haha - I do not think that the manager has thought things out.

My best option is to persuade the Local Authority planners that all developments must include wheelchair accessible bungalows - a little self-interest will be understood - grin.

The Annual Mayor Making is on Sunday May 11th but this clashes with the weekend of the Newark and Nottinghamshire Show and The Legion County Committee have got the HQ Information and Recruiting caravan and I've put myself down to do both days 08.00 to 18.00 because I cannot get to the other shows in Nottinghamshire, thus I get my annual hours in, at the one show. Always good fun at these affairs and we should be able to get a fair few people recruited to our cause.

Well, I shall type up that poem and upload it to the site.

Chris Green
