No, raise the retirement age to 100 and the qualifying age to be an MP to 110. That should get rid of the professional politicians.

Nell is building Oddenstein a new body out of a bluey-green crushed velvet with lots of thick seams to create the various crocodillian ridges; he looks very spectacular, though the tail needs finishing and the arms and legs are still in need of refurbishment as well.

Naturally the rest of the 'Crocs' are impressed with Nell's needlework and there is now a long queue for her needlework services; I think the teddy bears will be in the queue as well - grin.

Oddenstein is hoping to be finished before I travel back to Newark on Friday, but this is dependent on Nell feeling well enough to sit and do him, while also getting the rest of the packing done for her move back to 'The Dungeon' on Monday; we were hoping to do it on Thursday but the removers cannot do so, so she is moving on Monday.

Great to hear that Oddenstein is getting there but watch those other crocs, if they are made to wait too long they may get a little snappy (oooh that's bad).

Good luck with the move too.

Thanks to both of you and we shall get back to you all after the move (Monday 01/10/07) and after I am back in Newark (Friday 28/9/07).

Shall try to get online as much as possible, once I am home.

We have the Poppy Appeal on the horizon and it is Membership time again so I shall be exceedingly busy for the next 6 weeks.

Plus there is the Art Exhibition on October 22nd so I have just 2 weeks to complete my items before they have to be hung on the 15th of October.

If anyone fancies coming over to Newark on the 22nd, the exhibition will be held in the Pelham Street Community Centre, the entrance is via Pelham Gardens. All exhibits can be bought and proceeds go to the fighting fund for the group.

We R Back Again.

However, we are still on standby to disappear down to Nell's place, when the hospital gets around to sorting her gall bladder out, and once we sort the MRSA that she caught in the last stay in hospital.

The virus prevented the op to remove Nell's gallbladder.

Yawwwwwwn - shakes head, waits for eyes to focus.

Pleasing feeling of hot sun on the back and Oddment is snoring next to me.

"Where am I, aaaaah, on a tea towel, must be on the worktop next to the window - better inch forward slowly and check...

Ummmm big drop and no sign of my ladder - think, think - Oddment will have to do...

'X' marks the spot, time for a touch of 'Bat out of Hell', right let me see I can use his arms and legs to get him lined up, then a big push and drop with him...

AAAAAaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhttttttttttuuuuuuudddddddd!!!!!!!!!!uuuuurrrrrrhhhhhhh...

"Aaaaargh, this is the third time this week you've gone walkabout Oddment, I was enjoying the hot sun, its all your fault, now I'll have to go back to our croc bed... Yuk-yuk..."
