Puff, pant...

Alimentary Alligator, what use would a 57 be to us?

Oddenstein
Do you think anyone noticed?

Oddment
Shouldn't think so, nothing seems to happen on the other side of those screens.

After the passage of some days through the crocodile's alimentary tracts it became ap-hic-parent that methane production was at its windiest and that a new part, number 75, could be cut from the sheet metal; Oddenstein adjusted the rate of methane production and attached a couple of tubes to Oddment and a 'Pettomaine' on the other end and cutting heat was achieved quickly with relatively little damage caused by the explosive evacuation of methane from Oddment.

Oddment on the other hand requires a complete refit and is currently draped over 72 radiators and assorted spares in the plumbing department.

Yes, a straight flush and Oddenstein takes the pot.

Figment has sent off for an 'Igor', they are very good at stitching, apparently, they'll need to be; Figment has managed to collect all of Oddment's stuffing, before Oddenstein had had it baled and put into the Kapok Bank.

Oddment is sort of back-together, though blanket stitch is not what I would have used.

He has been promised a new suit and Oddenstein is going to make certain he gets it, along with an increase in kapok - I think he regards Oddment as a walking bank as opposed to a walk-in one.

Now that's an idea, a float-in wardrobe amd a concealed side-zip on the body suit.

Oddenstein is terribly jealous of Oddment's stitching, but then he is into monstrous stitching.

I think of Oddenstein as the croc version of Frankenstein's monster, though I have never figured out how to do the bolts in the neck without the head falling off regularly.

I suppose I could use a fine Whitworth thread and stitch the bolts in a hard version of one of those woolly balls one made as a child.

Then they would be integral to the rest of the stitching.

I suppose in modern terms 'stein is a bit Gothic, though he prefers camouflage makeup to black.
