Well it does not look as though Nell will be around to do Oddenstein's tailcoat, next week, though he is more worried that Nell won't be around.

I am full of morphine, paracetamol, tramadol and amitriptylene in an effort to knock out my spine and hands, which are all swollen and moving is horrible.

My hands feel like boxing gloves and have a degree of similarity to balloons.

Don't feel like doing anything apart from sleeping.

Oddenstein is jealous and wants to know why 'HE' is not the one getting duplicated; this enters the world of anthromorphic moral philosophy - heh, there may be a poem in there - grin.

What if 'Oddenstein' was cloned, we could all have one ? I think 'Oddenstein's name was derived from the God 'Odin' and a Drinking vessel in Germany !

Cloning provides an empty body, devoid of the original's life experiences and personality; you would have an empty receptacle, which you would have to provide with a character and expereinces.

I have an order in for an Oddenstein complete with travelling cushion (egg) in whatever colour comes to hand, a cloth periscope, cloth alarm clock divided into the seasons, a cloth portable swamp, and a cloth box of emergency rations including an emergency hammer for breaking out of the egg.

There will also be a sheet of instructions on the Care and Maintenance of crocodiles, it is somewhat humourous.

That is to say he could have been drunk but did not die from it.

I think I might be missing something here.
