In our prayers, those who were lost, those who were injured and those that are still suffering.

In my prayers too: how I wish that they hadn't died, and how I wish that all those suffering still from that conflict will one day find peace.

Many men suffered and many men died
In the Falklands all those years ago
But many were mentally wounded
The scars of their wounds never show
For the damage to them was buried deep
In their souls and in their mind
With an ever constant reminder
Of the colleagues they left behind
The horror of battle the noise and the smell
For the survivors is with them yet
So let's bow our heads and remember them all
Our heroes we must never forget.

Sleep on in blissful sleep those that were lost in the field of this conflict,

We cannot stop, because if a single one of these men were taken and shot, that would be our fault - Edith Cavell
