I'm not eating that, some parrot has peed in the soup!

It is pease soup.

That's what I said, that feathered nuisance has peed in the soup.

Thud.

What did you do that for?

I wasn't doing anything, you have to sort that bird out, anyway why did you cover me in green pee soup?

Question: who said that cricket was dead and burned a pair of bales, the ashes of which form a trophy today?

Ivor Bohl, I think in 1882 in the Times newspaper an advert was placed stating that English cricket was dead, this being the first time that the home side had been well and truly thrashed by the Australians during the test matches.

In 1889 the actual cup (a miniature cremation urn) was produced, by an Australian lady, Mrs Clarke, though the contents may be either a ball or a pair of bails.

Hoards of crocodiles throwing a very large party, piles of rockets and sundry things going bang including Figment's multi-barrelled, Gatling elephant gun on its handy anti-aircraft stand on top of a slightly damaged ex-Israeli army Centurion tank.

This was the gun that put such a dent in last Christmas with the sudden and most unfortunate deaths of several flying rheindeer and a sledge thing, also one wooly red suit with lots of holes in it and a few stains, with careful hand washing most of them should come out.

Now the searchlights cast a ghastly and bright glow in the darkness and link up to form a very large 'M' in the midnight blue sky, followed by two 'D's and 10 'C's.

With this message we pass through the immortal portal to 'MI' and subsequent scrapings on the tombstone of time and space and man management - also known as the swamp of food, there being no way to store a swamp in a department.

In the warm light of day, which comes after the early frost and cold light, All the trees round the swamp appear to have been cut in half about 15 feet up, which is roughly the height that the elephant gun was at when mounted on top of the tank.

The swamp is full of sections of tree and branches and sundry crocodiles have lumps and scrapes and there is a long queue waiting to see Dr Gon, Albert Gon, nice chap but you need a ladder to get onto the examination couch.

He has a duck as an assistant and they both peddle carbon-based cures - bacon and egg, egg and ham bush, and other similar useful things.
