'Able' has a label, which says 'Made in China' - the mind boggles that soft toy crocodiles sold in the US of A are made in a foreign place that Americans' barely acknowledge as existing on the same planet.

Oddenstein was concerned that he was stuffed with clay and Oddment wanted to know where Cain was, but apparently he could not come because he had a splitting headache from the axe that was buried in it, one of those familial disputes where they decided to bury the hatchet.

Had a surrealist dream about 'Able' trying to register with the local Crocodile Council.

"Name?"

"Able."

"First Name?"

"Enn".

"N - what?"

"Enn, N".

This went on for some considerable time.

I think I am cracking under the bureaucratic bovine excreta that moving drops down.

Oddment has sent Oddenstein on an Economics and Accounting Course so that he will understand the Theory of Money better.

Oddenstein, has returned from a short but diverse trip through quantum physics to the study of money and can now be found in odd mud wallows muttering about hyperbolic plateau and money gain sequences, neither of which have much to do with either money or countings or the state of the Kapok.

At least he has forgotten all about kapok forests, seeds and Oddment.

Polyester?

Massively thermally-efficient, did you know that Able is TOG Rated?

So what do we do with all of the kapok?

Use it as currency.

Won't that flood the market with extra money and devalue the overall price of currency?

Will it?

OK, let's stuff a big mattress with it, that should take care of the storage arrangements.

What hppens if it gets wet?

OK, we need to supply a method for preventing the kapok from getting wet - think, think, think - hourglasses turning over in the air thunk, thunk, THUNK! That's it, we put the mattress into one of those rubber boats, then it will float next time there is a flood and if we wrap the mattress in rubber sheeting and use rubber sealant.

We will be OK to print rubber cheques and have a currency guaranteed to bounce everytime.

My palette is full of words and their colours are dependent upon the mix of emotions that are felt at any one time.

The crocs are my way of saying 'I' in your verbal world and they act as an 'icebreaker' and allow people to approach me and to talk.

The Croc who drives my wheelchair gives people something to look at and to offer comments without getting caught out by saying the wrong thing about one's disablement.

I think that I am more introspective when my partner is not with me and this makes my verbal aspect impinge on my writing compartment.

Nell and I have decided that when we move to our new and hopefully our last place, we are going to call it 'The Croc'ery' though I did suggest 'Crock's Corner' but there are several of those around the UK and we wanted a unique name.

Oddment has suggested that we should create one of my small steel crocodiles and have it holding the house name.

We already have a brass sign on the front door, which says, "Beware of the Crocodile".

Visitors press the bell and then step back about 10 feet.

Then on the kitchen window (the room most likely, statistically-speaking, to be broken into as a means of illegal entry) there is a sign saying, "Trespassers will be eaten, survivors will be persecuted".

On the subject of books, we sat down and discussed what we should be working on.

Nell suggested a disablement story, set on an island, with a girl in a wheelchair and her pet crocodile.

I suggested it should be more of a fantasy and that the pet shop also stocked unicorns and dragons and such like and I said that Nell should write it because she is a very accomplished artist and she has always written short stories and a chapter is basically a short story.

I have asked Nell if she will do the artwork for 'The Crocodile Chronicles' and she has said, "Yes".

I shall do the cartoons as a separate layer, which will be merged with the multiple layers of the artwork and watermarks.

Nell thinks that doing the artwork as separate layers she can build up a library of elements and features and it will be a simple matter of bringing in and merging the correct layers, this will simplify having to do the same artwork over and over.

Just got to get this move out of the way first and then get settled in, that depends upon what work needs to be done at the new place, garden and property and unpacking. (syntax?)

Must edit my profile message.

2 bedrooms, study, huge lounge diner, galley kitchen, separate wc, shower, bathroom, large conservatory, integral garage, small pond, summer house and potting shed.

Handrails throughout and the conservatory has underfloor heating; the kitchen comes with white goods.

A heated swamp, the only problem with getting Oddenstein involved with anything is that it is Oddment who ends up doing everything.

Oddenstein wants extra heating so delegated Oddment to sort it out; he passed it on to Able who has engaged a dragon called 'Wind swings occasionally south' and who has only had one previous job, which resulted in him not getting paid - largely because of hayfever and excessive ash residue replacing the revenue.

The job is expected to take some time while they wait for a propitious wind.
