I shall be making a new door sign from steel, 2 crocodiles holding up letters which 'say': 'The Croc'ery' I'll have one of them trying to hide a letter 'k' under his arm.

One is considering whether to do the sign in a similar shape to the Yin and Yang, or male and female, or possibly like the eternal circle and the snake eating its own tail.

Oddenstein thinks that I am being too complex, "Its a bl**dy d**r sign, isn't it?"

Oddment thinks that the crocs should be entwined in the mating dance and Able just feels variable.

The biped went out on the river today, in his wheelchair - it was a fairly big boat, though getting up the gangway was interesting.

Unfortunately we were in the front rucksack and had not been warned about the river trip, so our 'Mildew' alarms kept going off and none of us had our rubber life jackets or the big inflatable rubber raft.

Mind you, it was satisfying to know that the boat was taller than the river was deep, not much difference and I am led to believe that the biped would have been damp to the knees, of course this means that we would have been underwater, but then we would have transfered to the biped and the bodies would have had to be replaced.

Happily the cruise was uneventful except for the noisy alarms, which now have to be replaced because Oddenstein chewed them up to stop the racket.

On our way home the biped invested in a couple of N Gauge (sp?) cranes - he hasn't got any rails?

Most odd, it is to be supposed that he will be building another 1:160mm diorama using them for the garden railway, at the new home, when and if we get a new swamp.

We have been informed that the going is good for the new swamp and that we shall not have to put up with a wierd bungalow and a triangular garden.

We shall be living upstairs in the office, which means that we are 18 feet above the last flood marker; we can always move into the attic, that would give us another 10 feet, note to biped: 'make certain that we can plug our TV in, in the attic.'

The attic is little mo0re than a small crawl space full of glass fibre packing stuff...

Oddenstein: "I'm not going in there then, that cost me a hide and all my stuffing in Liverpool, when I fell into that stack of pink stuff, I was itching for months, and I lost all of my dust mites - I nearly had a full set, too!"

The council have officially 'washed their hands' over our homelessness, claiming that they have offered everything that they can.

Well, there has been no social housing built for 30 years in Newark and there are 5,000 names on the council housing list, so that is probably over 30,000 people waiting for a home.

The last one that was supposedly wheelchair accessible was a sick joke, someone had widened the doorways on a single occupancy old person's home and called it wheelchair accessible - it did not even qualify for the basic standards laid down in Part 'M' of The Building Regulations, 1990.

The new swamp will be at 29 The Ivies, Newark NG24 4SR from 6th July 2010, which is the biped's birthday.

Anyone who feels like lending a hand in the move, we are self-moving between 6th July to 9th July.

Thanks Taffy, no, I get rid of the stuff as soon as I see it.

That is the F1 hybrid developed for florists and as a floral background, which does not flower and grows like fury.

The original wild type has five fingers and a similar shape of leaf to the Japanese Maple with its palmate leaf; also it has a wonderful white flower and grows very slowly.

'Grows slowly?'

Oddment is lying in a bed of bindweed.

Oddenstein starts up the rotovator and is last seen disappearing through the hedge.

Snip, snip, snip.

'Blasted bindweed.'

"Why is 'stein pushing his thread back up the library?"

Well if he ends up on the 2nd page, he's worried that nobody will read his thread.

"But No-body does read his thread, I saw his eyes sitting on the cushion reading it."

Oddenstein: "I had a look through a pile of biology dictionaries to find out what a re-union involves, it apparently has to do with getting married and then having sex and then doing it all again; mind you the TGWU handbook was somewhat puzzling because you can have a union but you can't have a re-union; the closest thing to it seems to be a committee meeting."

Oddment: "The bipeds are just getting together for a bit of co-operation like grandfather does when he gets everyone out fishing."

Figment (aka Grandfather): "So we are all going to be a big, arguementative, unhappy, back-stabbing, family again."
