The autistic side of me wants a defined approach to the public side of losing one's partner on the other hand the Oddenstein side is signing up to a crocodile dating site aka 'one down, next!'

The emotional side is taking its time and seems to thoroughly 'enjoy' being depressed with bursts of mania and aggression.

Subconsciously all my mind wants to do is to switch off and go to sleep.

I suppose it is the question about the length of a piece of string, in that the string is always long enough to do a particular job, but not necessarily the one you want it to do.

Hence the grief will last as long as is necessary and I shall just have to put up with the inconvenience; that probably means that I am starting to get back to some form of 'normal unreality'.
